Padua is the same design as Turin, (2691) which was introduced in the year previous to this version.
Very few examples of this pattern have been seen. Collectors should be aware that the exact same design was also produced by a Japanese manufacturer , the colours and tube-lining are identical, although the shapes are different from those made by Crown Ducal. Buyers should ensure they have satisfied themselves with the correctness of the base markings and Crown Ducal shape before purchasing otherwise you might acquire an item with "Made in Japan" on the base.
